The regally bred Doha is relatively lightly raced for a 4 -year old and she has shown some progressive form this season. She won the ultra competitive Kensington Palace Stakes Handicap at Royal Ascot before then running a good race to finish 2nd in listed class at Pontefract. Connections deiced to throw her in the deep end after that run and sent her to Goodwood for the Group 1 Nassau Stakes over 1m2f. Doha certainly didn't disgrace herself when finishing 5th of 9, fading late on. Now back down to 1m on a stiff track such as Sandown, she looks to have her ideal conditions. Keeping in mind her dam improved with age, she could well still have more to offer. Doha rates a 4 star each way Pick.
