Celtic Art was running in a premier handicap at Newbury this time last year and after a couple of below par recent runs he has slipped to what could be an attractive handicap mark now. Celtic Art was having his first run back after a seasonal break when fading into 5th of 6 at Newton Abbot last month and now back on better ground and race fitness on his side he can run a much better race off a mark of 115 (2lb below his last winning mark). Celtic Art's prominent style of racing lends itself well to this track and the extra distance he tackles today might be what he needs as he gets older. Celtic Art rates a 3 star each way Pick.
