Taritino showed improved form on the flat over last summer when completing a hat-trick of wins. He has not transferred that improvement to hurdles so far this winter but did look like it might not be too far away for him to click in this sphere. Taritino ran a good race to finish 5th of 7 last time out over this track and distance and not beaten too far. Now down to what looks a good handicap mark of 88 and back on much better faster ground (3 of 4 flat wins came on good to firm ground) he could well be ready to strike. Taritino rates a 4 star each way Pick.
