Northern Prince is yet to win a race but has posted some decent efforts in defeat to suggest his time is not far. One of those efforts came over this very track and distance two runs ago when he finished 2nd of 12 beaten only 1/2 a length. He didn't look like he handled the track last time out at Musselburgh and now back at Redcar a better effort is expected. Northern Prince has a good draw and stall 2 and he could well blast out and grab the far side rails (a tactic often favoured here) and make all the running. Northern Prince rates a 3 star each way Pick.
