The Amazon has always been a horse that has worked well at home and on his second start he won a maiden race at Windsor back in April. However things have not gone to plan since and he has been a beaten favourite at both Haydock and Windsor and on both occasions finishing well down the field. The Amazon was gelded in July and has been given 74 days off the track, if this has had the desired effect to help improve his temperament, then he could be a dangerously well handicapped horse today.
