The dogs were certainly barking when Powerful Glory made his debut at Pontefract and having started off as 10-11 favourite he didn't let his supporters down. Travelling powerfully through the race he quickened up in the style of a pattern class performer and won going away by 5 1/2 lengths. He looks just the type of horse to improve with his racing and although only having had the one run, he looked very professional at Pontefract. A horse with huge potential and worth following. Powerful Glory rates a 4 star win Pick.
