Kracking was struggling for form this season since switching stables and after a number of moderate efforts his handicap mark slipped from 73 to 60. Racing off this mark he was a good 2nd at Brighton 2 runs back, suggesting a return to form, which he duly delivered on in his next run at Salisbury over 7f. He travelled well through the race that day and then quickened up really well to beat his rivals by a whopping 8 1/2 lengths. Connections are obviously keen to get another run into him before he can be reassessed and today's race looks a good opportunity. Kracking rates a 4 star win Pick.
