Desert Flower did really well to make a winning racecourse debut at Newmarket in July, she pulled clear of a now 90 rated horse in Flight (re-opposes today), and marked herself as a filly to follow. She reappeared at Newmarket a month later to win a 7f novice race by 6 1/2 lengths, really stretching out at the finish and pulling further clear the further they went. She is obviously a horse with great potential and the 1m distance on a nice big galloping track such as Doncaster looks like something that will suit her even better. In what doesn't look the strongest renewal of this race, Desert Flower stands out. Desert Flower rates a 4 star win Pick.
