The Wolf got to a career high mark of 144 a few years back and is a horse that brings a touch of class to today's type of contest. As the years have advanced his form has dipped somewhat but he does still retain some ability. He ran well at Southwell last time out in June when 2nd of 6 beaten only 1 1/2 lengths. The conditions of today's race look to suit him well and with his stable firmly amongst the winners of late, it could well be that The Wolf has too much for his rivals today. The Wolf rates a 3 star win Pick.
