VERDICT: Big field for the second race and some will need luck from wide gates. Thingamabob came in for solid betting support on debut but found one better probably due to inexperience. She has a wide draw to contend with. Alex Miller ran a decent race over 1250m after a rest and if she can hold her form over the extra she could go close. Miss William, like Thingamabob, showed fair potential on debut. If she settles over the distance she could be hard to peg back. Wild Applause is capable of better and could get the timing right. Vivo Per Lei and Wehaveasituation have claims too.
