VERDICT: North Star showed the benefit of her debut run when she comfortably justified favouritism at Newcastle in November and she is open to further progression as a three-year-old. However, a 7lb penalty could be her undoing here and preference is for the well-bred Pelean, who debuts for powerful connections at a very realistic level. Bijoux is another attractive option on paper and also warrants a betting check. Arkinthestars appeals most from the rest with experience.
