VERDICT: Having looked somewhat of an unlucky loser when rattling home for second over track and trip on Tuesday, City Escape makes plenty of appeal racing off an unchanged mark. Mark Loughnane's mare is 4lb well-in on her future mark and she should take all the beating if coping with a quick turnaround. The biggest threat may emerge from the three-time C&D winner Strategic Fortune, who should appreciate this drop back in distance, while last month's C&D third Port Noir is unlikely to be far away either.
