VERDICT: Castan completed a hat-trick over C&D a fortnight ago with something to spare and his winning run may not be ending any time soon. A 2lb nudge up in the ratings looks on the lenient side and Bryan Smart's charge is fancied to repel chief rivals Monks Dream and King's Crown. That pair have been in good heart at this track of late and they should keep the selection honest, with the former looking slightly better handicapped at present.
