VERDICT: A drop in distance was enough for Lingfield scorer Time Tested to be thwarted in his follow-up bid when fourth over a mile at Newcastle. However, Michael Bell's charge has since undergone a gelding procedure and the return to 1m2f could see him regain the winning thread. Cerulean Summer has posted several creditable efforts in defeat over 1m4f of late and reverting to this trip shouldn't prevent another good account. Egoiste is also noted.
