VERDICT: Out of the first 3 just once in 6 career starts, London Jones (8) gave a fine account of himself on his return to competition earlier this month. He will have progressed for the run, sports a new configuration for his Cagnes bow, and looks the horse to beat. He will still feel the heat from the excellent Lothbrock (4) who has won 5 of the 7 races he has finished, and the capable Lucifer (7) who sports just front shoes in a bid to make up for his Cagnes sanction.
