VERDICT: Although Fortunate Star edged out Better when he dead-heated for first over this C&D in November, the latter has an 8lb pull at the weights and, with Warren Fentiman's claim added to the mix, he has a live chance of exacting revenge for that narrow defeat. Street Life and Desert Master are closely matched on recent form, with the former appealing most of that pair based on his more proven reliability.
