VERDICT: Illico De Cotte has improved for the switch to the larger obstacles with a victory at Carlisle in October backed up with a placed effort at the same venue last month. The seven-year-old remains unexposed in this discipline and appears to have been found an excellent opportunity to strike. The return to a softer surface may be in the favour of Livin On Luco having struggled at Cheltenham last month, while Southern National runner-up Feivel completes the shortlist.
