VERDICT: Top Seed, who made a fair debut for the powerful Mike De Kock yard, is the one to watch. He has been off for a while but could be anything having matured. Real War should test him. He finished runner-up for the second time over the course and distance and could go one better from gate No 1. Tickalox must have wins to come. He has been taking time to put it together but has shown he can run some decent races. Good Living is consistent and if the going up the outside of the track proves to be fair, he could be there. Emoyeni made a fair debut and can only improve.
