VERDICT: Debut winner Heal And Soul would've benefitted from the experience of his promising introduction and is open to any amount of improvement. However, preference is for Kelp Forest who quickened smartly in first-time blinkers to win his last start over 1000m and a resultant 6-point penalty, with the headgear retained, shouldn't halt his momentum. Returning Meant To Be, improving last-start scorer Elsinore, Sun Dazed (with blinkers refitted), course-and-distance suited Night Tiger, experienced Paratrooper, and hard-knocker Fort Red are others capable of getting into the picture.
