VERDICT: Flying Finley confirmed the promise of his debut 2nd over 1100m by finishing 2nd over this course and distance last month. He needn't improve much to go one better with Richard Fourie retaining the ride. Klein Karoo stayed on well to finish on the heels of that rival when making his debut in the same race, so he should play a leading role with natural improvement expected. Catch A Penny wouldn't be winning out of turn either. She has the form and experience to challenge her male rivals, especially in receipt of 2.5kg.
