VERDICT: Hunter Legend has stepped forward with each start this season and arrives following a smooth display at Leicester a fortnight ago. The manner of that performance suggested the step up to 3m was unlikely to be a concern for the eight-year-old, who bids for a fourth success over the larger obstacles. Surrey Quest was still travelling nicely when unseating at Newbury and his guaranteed stamina should bring him into play. Others to consider include Kyntara and Remastered.
