VERDICT: El Capitan has shown ability in all of his starts. He has been gelded and could be well suited to the 1400m. Magma Magic is overdue. His last run is best ignored as he didn't look comfortable and he could get it right. Captainship is still learning what it is all about. He has drawn well and could get things to go his way. River Dance was well beaten on the poly last time. He seems capable of better and could earn having drawn well. Samuel Longsword could be the dark horse if he recovers his best form.
