VERDICT: Romeo Coolio is held in very high regard by connections and was a smart sort in bumpers last season winning at this venue and also finishing second to Jasmin De Vaux at the Cheltenham Festival. The Kayf Tara gelding easily justified cramped odds on his hurdling debut at Down Royal and riding arrangements suggest he's preferred to Bleu De Vassy who has already scored at Grade 3 level over hurdles. Willie Mullins has a numerically strong challenge and Belloccio may prove the pick of his five runners. His jumping was far from perfect when easily winning a Punchestown maiden in May and the following month he landed the 1m6f Copper Horse Handicap at Royal Ascot.
