VERDICT: Starlyte comfortably accounted for Santa Clarita at Kelso before going on to record an unlikely win at Newcastle. Santa Clarita is 6lb better off, despite racing from 3lb out of the handicap, but that might not be enough to reverse the form. That said, the vote goes to All The Glory, who has largely struggled since landing a valuable prize at Newbury in March, but this is far easier than the races she has contested and she may be capable of bouncing back. Ben Macey takes a welcome 10lb off her back too, and that can only be viewed as an added positive.
