VERDICT: L'immortale showed much improved form when switched to this surface and fitted with a tongue tie last time finishing third to Trishuli River over C&D. The selection had Numidia and Omakase behind in fourth and fifth respectively and has solid claims if backing up that effort. Barretstown is an obvious threat having been raised just 4lb after recording a third course win earlier this month, while Designer Cailin was placed on her penultimate start over 1m2f at Navan but lost any chance at the start here last time. Ranko Express won at Gowran last year for Andy Slattery and now returns to the Killenaule trainer after a period with Kevin Coleman.
