VERDICT: Rapparee Champ (third) narrowly got the better of Jane Eire (fourth) when the pair met over 2m4f at Down Royal in August. However, the latter was short of room at a crucial stage on that occasion and, with the experience now under her belt, she gets the vote to reverse that form en route to victory on just her second career start. Mr Percy posted a smart performance when winning over 1m6f on the Flat here last month, and he merits respect on his hurdling bow.
