VERDICT: Cashlyn Cavalier shaped with more promise than the bare result suggests when finishing seventh over 6f at Haydock in August, looking tapped for toe at a crucial stage before keeping on well inside the final furlong. Now stepping up to 7f for the first time, he gets the vote to score on his nursery debut. Herb Fennel has shown a fair level of ability and must enter calculations, while better can be expected from Storm The Dug.
