VERDICT: A chance can be taken on Spirit Of Acklam, who has been given a bit of time off since disappointing in the London Gold Cup at Newbury in May. The son of Cracksman will find this assignment much more to his liking and with the likelihood of further progress, he can get back on track. Soowaih was narrowly denied at Hamilton recently and he remains of interest from an unchanged mark. Others to note include Pol Roger and Reyaadah Star.
