VERDICT: Saigon Dream progressed from his debut run when a close second to an 80-rated rival at Kempton last month and, with further improvement likely now he steps up to a mile, this is well within reach for the son of Oasis Dream at this stage. Mr Grimes (second) finished a length in front of Mauchline (fifth) in a Lingfield maiden a fortnight ago and can give the selection some food for thought with a step forward.
