VERDICT: Siegen was rated 86 after winning at Sandown but has struggled since, although dropped to 80 now, he has every chance of a much better run. Alashos is the only distance winner in the field, but has been held on both starts since that Lingfield triumph and it may pay to side with Jr Climbs. A winner at Bath in July and a solid fourth in a class two at Ripon on his first start after being gelded, he is entitled to find this level much more to his liking.
