VERDICT: Mercury Day looks set for another big effort with Jim Crowley booked to ride by Conrad Allen after she came home a weakening third over further in a better race at Lingfield. She may prove the biggest danger to So Logical, who was successful in a 0-90 handicap at Newmarket in May off just 1lb lower. Although beaten three times since, she tries blinkers, which may help her back to winning ways. Queen's Reign, third to Mercury Day at Newmarket, is another to consider now dropping back in trip.
