VERDICT: Exceed was beaten just a head on his penultimate effort over 5f at Carlisle and should he replicate that form, the four-year-old should be a tough nut to crack. Havagomecca is feared most seeking compensation after being sent off joint-favourite when fifth over 5f at Musselburgh last Friday and better can be expected from Michael Dods' charge. Concierge scored over 6f at Brighton off a 1lb higher mark than this last September and he can get involved with a return to form.
