ANALYSIS: Tracked leader, led over 2f out, headed over 1f out, no extra inside final 100 yards
VERDICT: Local Bay is versatile regarding the trip and having won under Jack Doughty at Epsom on his penultimate start, the Tony Carroll-trained six-year-old has a lot going for him in this company. Little Boy Blue has a course and distance win to his name and is the chief danger, despite having to concede weight all round, although fellow C&D winner Batchelor Boy is competitively weighted based on his peak efforts and is another for consideration.
