VERDICT: Intuitive Spirit has only had three runs as a three-year-old but was a big improver and could exit the maidens just before turning four. Magic Hat Trick finished ahead of him when the pair met and is patently better than his last run on the poly. French Trip brings fair Western Cape form into the race and if enjoying the track he could open his account immediately. Bella's Pablo has finished behind French Trip but ran an encouraging race in his first try on a right-hander and should build on that effort. Future Flo has been a hard one to follow. He is always in with a say.
