VERDICT: First-time cheekpieces could do the trick for Pledgeofallegiance, who took a big step forward when filling the runner-up spot over 1m4f at Lingfield earlier this month. The gelded son of Sea The Stars makes his turf debut, but his dam finished a creditable fourth in the Oaks during her career, so he seems capable of acting on this surface. Moush can give him plenty to think about with his most recent run for second in mind, while Book Of Tales also warrants a market check.
