VERDICT: Macara is holding form nicely and would be deserving. She had wide draws to overcome in her last two and didn't disgrace herself. However there is one in the race that is going for five wins in a row. After winning three in a row Bella Siccome was expected to have a tough time against males but she beat them showing a bit of class. She has won at this venue and after a rest so could beat the handicapper yet again. Hawker Typhoon is the dark horse. She ran on well but too late the last time she raced over 1400m at this venue. She goes 100m more which could help. More in it.
