VERDICT: A chance is taken on War Soldier, who impressed with wins both here and at Haydock before struggling in Grade 2 company at Cheltenham last time. Dropped in both trip and class for his handicap debut, he is fancied to bounce back to form. Albert's Back also has his sights lowered, after disappointing at Haydock, and warrants respect, while Thereisnodoubt and Stainsby Girl are others to watch out for.
