VERDICT: Wide open. Blue Holly put her experience to good use when building on a pleasing debut effort to finish 2nd over 1000m last time out, and further improvement over the extra 200m ought to see her play another leading role. Siddeley and Strata were on debut and well beaten on that occasion but would've come on appreciably for that experience so could well get closer. Oni San was not beaten far on debut by a subsequent feature-race winner, and with natural improvement could make her presence felt. Easy Money has claims, while newcomers Kyalami Girl, Charlene and October Morn are worth monitoring.
