VERDICT: Although Miss Gallagher has been raised 2lb for her runner-up effort here just under a fortnight ago, this extra furlong looks sure to suit and she gets the vote with her capable rider claiming a 7lb in the saddle once again. The James Fanshawe-trained American Belle is having her first run in handicap company having shaped well in all three starts to date and she has a hood applied now. Machito brings a solid level of form to the race and should appreciate this stiffer test of stamina.
