VERDICT: Although he was a beaten favourite at Newmarket when last seen, this looks a perfect opportunity for Expressionless to get off the mark at the third time of asking. The son of Intello wasn't disgraced over a shorter trip on debut and looked to improve for the extra yardage when fourth 12 days ago, despite still looking green. Hurtle was narrowly denied at Epsom in August and a similar effort could see him go close here, while any market support for the Charlie and Mark Johnston-trained newcomer Artisand would be worth noting.
