VERDICT: A step up in trip looks set to benefit Oh So Chic as she bids to regain the winning thread. Ed Bethell's mare proved suited by the stiff nature of Carlisle's run-in when successful over 1m6f last month, which she followed up with a good second at Redcar, and the greater emphasis on stamina can eke out further improvement. Lady Shanawell returned to form at Ripon last time out and is considered along with Witham River, who is too well treated to ignore.
