VERDICT: Jamie Codd is an interesting booking for Sandhurst who has form on easy ground. A juvenile winner on heavy for Aidan O'Brien and second in last year's Chester Vase, the half-brother to Group 2 winner Aesop's Fables had been running reasonably well for his new yard until his latest outing in a premier handicap at Leopardstown where the first-time visor didn't seem to work. This is a lot less competitive and he can bounce back to form. Zaynudin hacked up in a Gowran maiden last month on his first start of the season and got a big hike in the ratings. Whether he's worthy of his new mark of 93 remains to be seen but he certainly comes into this with his confidence boosted. Monas Melody has been in fine form in staying handicaps but doesn't want it soft whereas smart chaser Castlegrace Paddy, who beat Happy Jacky in a maiden at Killarney, will appreciate an ease in the ground.
